AI answers and human handoff
How AI-assisted support answers are designed to work in Kit Pay: always labelled, never in control of money, handing over to people.
AI in a payment app deserves suspicion until the boundaries are stated, so here they are, stated. Kit Pay's support design uses AI-assisted answers for common questions — and constrains them with two rules that are architectural, not aspirational.
Rule one: you always know what you are reading
Assistant answers are clearly labelled as assistant answers. You are never left guessing whether a person or a system replied — the label travels with the text, the same honesty spending insights applies to AI-assisted summaries. An answer you cannot attribute is an answer you cannot weigh.
Rule two: the assistant can never move money or change your account
The assistant answers questions. It does not hold the powers that matter: it cannot send money, cannot change your PIN or sessions, cannot lift a restriction, cannot approve anything on your behalf. Sensitive actions on Kit Pay require your own approval, tied to what you are doing, using your wallet PIN or supported device security — and a conversation, with a human or an AI, is never that approval.
The handoff
An assistant that cannot admit its limits is a bad product. The design hands the conversation to a person whenever the request needs one — and because the request lives inside your authenticated session, the person receiving it knows which account is asking without you proving anything or sending anything. What nobody on the other end needs, ever, is your PIN, password, or a one-time code; what support will never ask holds for humans and assistants alike.
Frequently asked questions
Can the assistant see my balance and payments?
The assistant exists to answer your questions inside your own signed-in app. What it can never do is act: no moving money, no changing your account, no approving anything. The powers, not the reading list, are the boundary that protects you.
What if the AI gives me a wrong answer?
Ask for a person — the design hands over whenever a request needs one. For anything involving money you are always entitled to a human, and the record of the conversation stays in the app either way.
