Your account and use of Kit Pay
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials and devices secure, and use Kit Pay only for lawful purposes. Features may depend on age, identity verification, account status, provider coverage, device support, transaction limits, and service readiness.
Your content
You retain ownership of messages, profile information, and other content you create or submit. You give Kit Pay a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, transmit, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service or carry out actions you choose. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Private messages are end-to-end encrypted on supported, enrolled devices. If you choose to report abuse, your device may send the messages you select, limited surrounding context, and report details to Kit Pay safety and support personnel for review.
Content and conduct rules
Do not use Kit Pay to create, send, request, promote, or coordinate:
- illegal activity, fraud, scams, impersonation, or unauthorized financial activity;
- threats, harassment, exploitation, hateful abuse, or content that endangers another person;
- malware, spam, attempts to bypass security controls, or unauthorized access; or
- content that violates another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other rights.
Use the in-app report or block controls where available, or open the signed-in Kit Pay app and report the problem from Help. The support page explains how in-app help works; it does not take reports itself. Do not make knowingly false or abusive reports.
Enforcement and account action
Kit Pay may investigate reports, preserve required evidence, restrict access to features, remove content available to us, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to address these rules, protect users or the service, comply with law, or prevent fraud. Enforcement considers available context and does not imply routine access to end-to-end encrypted message content. If you believe an action was taken in error, open the signed-in Kit Pay app and raise it from Help.
Payments and availability
Kit is not a financial institution. Payment services are provided through RukaPay.
Payment services are available only to eligible users and through supported providers. Review the recipient, amount, fees, exchange information, and final confirmation shown in Kit Pay before authorizing a transaction. Provider delays, limits, reversals, and compliance checks may apply.
Changes and contact
Kit Pay may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. We will publish a revised effective date and provide additional notice where appropriate. Questions about these terms are answered from Help inside the signed-in Kit Pay app; the support page explains how in-app help works.
