Transfers you accept: what is coming

Today, a Kit Pay transfer completes when you approve it — which is exactly right between people who know each other, and exactly the problem when a digit was wrong. A coming-soon feature changes the shape for the cases that need it: a transfer that waits, and only becomes the recipient's money when they accept it.

The design being built

• You send to a number as usual, but as a waiting transfer rather than an instant one.
• The recipient sees it and accepts — or declines, or simply never claims it.
• Only acceptance moves the money into their wallet; a transfer nobody accepts comes back instead of vanishing into a stranger's balance.

The quiet upside is what it does to the wrong-number story. Today that story ends with a favour: the mistaken recipient choosing to return money that already became theirs. With acceptance in the middle, the story usually ends before it begins — the stranger who never claims it never receives it, and the sender recovers without depending on anyone's goodwill.

What will not change

Everything that makes transfers trustworthy stays: sending remains a sensitive action approved by you, tied to what you are doing, using your wallet PIN or supported device security; every movement remains a double-entry ledger record; and your history remains the one source of truth about what actually happened. Acceptance adds a step for the recipient — it does not loosen anything for the sender.

Until it arrives

The habits that protect you today keep working: read the review screen slowly, prefer payment requests when you are unsure of a number, and know the honest options if a mistake does happen. Features reduce risk; attention removes it.
