Referrals: what is coming

Kit Pay referral rewards are being designed around one rule: a reward is earned when the invited person qualifies, not at signup.

Kit Pay grows the way payment networks have always grown — someone you trust says "get this, I'll pay you through it." Referral rewards will put something behind that moment: invite people you trust, and earn a reward when an invited person qualifies. This page states what is being built and, just as deliberately, what is not.

The one rule stated up front

A reward is only ever earned after the invited person qualifies — never just for signing up. That single design choice is worth explaining, because it is the difference between a referral program and a spam machine: rewards for bare signups pay people to harvest strangers, while rewards for qualification pay people to bring in neighbours, customers, and family who genuinely start using Kit Pay. How qualification will work goes deeper.

What this will not be

  • Not a get-rich scheme: no buying of referral slots, no paying to participate, no "levels". Anything shaped like that and wearing the Kit name is a scam — see referral safety.
  • Not a pressure engine: an invitation is an invitation. The person you invite signs up in their own app, on their own decision, with their own security from day one.
  • Not a data grab: inviting someone does not expose your wallet to them or theirs to you. Referral or no referral, no design on Kit Pay shows your balance to another user.

Until launch

There is nothing to sign up for and no list to join — and that fact is protective. As of this article's review date, no genuine Kit Pay referral reward exists, so any message currently offering one is counterfeit by definition. When the program is real, your own app will say so. The referral FAQ collects the short answers.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reserve my referral reward now?

No, and nobody genuine can offer that. Rewards will exist when the program launches, announced in the app, earned under the rules stated there.

Will inviting someone cost me anything?

Paying to join, activate, or unlock a referral program is not how genuine referral programs work anywhere — a request for money to participate is a scam signature, whatever the final terms in the app turn out to be.
