Forgot your wallet PIN?

It happens — a PIN chosen carefully in January is a blank space by June. Take a breath: your money is not lost. The wallet PIN is a lock on approvals, not the location of your balance, and there is a right way through this.

First, do not guess wildly

Wrong attempts at an approval are counted, and too many lock that attempt — the same protection that stops a thief from guessing freely. If two calm tries do not land, stop typing and ask for help instead of burning attempts on hope.

The right way through

1. Open Kit Pay on your own phone, signed in as usual — forgetting the PIN does not sign you out.
2. If you have enrolled fingerprint or face unlock, sensitive actions that accept device security still work while you sort the PIN out.
3. Changing a wallet PIN in the app requires entering the current one — that rule protects you from a thief holding your phone, and it applies to you too. If the PIN truly will not come back, open Help in the app and describe the situation.
4. Follow what support asks for from there. Proving it is really you is the whole point, and support happens only inside the signed-in app.

When you set the new PIN, resist the urge to pick something easier to remember because last time went badly. Easier for you is easier for everyone. Choose fresh digits that are unique to Kit Pay — used nowhere else, connected to no fact about your life. And if remembering is the real struggle, enrolling device security lets your fingerprint or face carry the day-to-day approvals while the PIN stays rare, private, and deliberate.
