Repeating payments

Plans that pay on a rhythm: creating a repeating payment, pausing and resuming it, and staying in control throughout.

Some money moves on a rhythm: rent, a worker's pay, weekly support to family, a savings-group contribution. A repeating payment captures the rhythm once — person, amount, schedule — and then keeps the beat for you, with each run landing in both histories like any other transfer.

One approval covers the plan

When you create the plan, you review it and approve it with your wallet PIN or supported device security — approval tied to that plan. Each execution then runs from the approval you gave at creation; the app does not interrupt you every cycle, because uninterrupted cycles are what you asked for. The honest consequence: read the plan carefully before approving, exactly as you would a payment, because you are approving all of its runs.

You hold three controls

  • Pause — the plan stops executing but keeps its shape, ready for later. Nothing runs while paused.
  • Resume — the rhythm picks up again when you are ready.
  • Cancel — the plan ends. Ending a plan never touches the payments already made; those stay in your history.

Pause is the underrated one. Money gets tight some months; pausing a plan is more honest than letting it fail against an empty wallet, and kinder than cancelling a rhythm you intend to keep. To change a plan's details — amount, day, person — cancel it and create the plan you actually want, so every running plan is one you approved in full.

Living with plans well

  1. Review your plans when life changes — a moved house, a finished school term, an ended arrangement.
  2. Keep enough in the wallet ahead of each run; a plan can only send what is there.
  3. Glance at your history monthly so every rhythm still matches a real obligation.

Plans pair naturally with a budget: budgeting with irregular income shows how fixed rhythms and unfixed income can coexist without drama.

Frequently asked questions

Does each run of a repeating payment ask for my PIN?

No. You approve the plan when you create it, and executions run from that approval. Pause or cancel any time you want the rhythm stopped.

What happens if my wallet is short on the day a run is due?

A plan cannot send money the wallet does not hold. Keep the wallet ahead of the rhythm, or pause the plan for the tight month.
